What is FACERANK?
FACERANK is one brutal global leaderboard for faces. Upload a selfie, an AI model rates it from 0 to 10, and you take your place on the board. That's the whole product.
There's no voting, no duels, no friends, no algorithmic feed to game. One score per face, ranked against everyone. The top 50 faces are public — the rest of the board is visible but blurred until you pay a couple of dollars.
How scoring works
Every upload gets exactly one AI evaluation (Google Gemini). In that single pass the model first checks content safety (nudity/explicit content is rejected), then verifies there is a real human face, then produces a 0–10 score plus five sub-metrics: jawline, skin, symmetry, harmony and definition. The same photo never gets rated twice by different judges — it's one call, deterministic prompt, no human review.
Scores are AI opinions with all the limitations that implies: they can be inconsistent across similar photos, they reflect biases in training data, and they say nothing about your worth as a person. We publish full details on the AI Transparency page — including what data is stored and how to delete everything instantly.
Why paywalled photos?
Running AI analysis on every photo costs real money, and showing every photo to everyone for free would also make this site a scraping target for facial datasets. The top 50 stay free because a leaderboard you can't see is pointless; below rank 50, viewers who want full visibility fund the infrastructure. Your score is always public regardless.
The boring stuff
Photos are stored privately, EXIF data (including GPS) is stripped on upload, duplicates are detected via perceptual hashing, and every photo requires explicit consent before it goes anywhere near an AI model. Deleting your account or withdrawing consent wipes your photos immediately. Questions? admin (at) facerank.lol.
